Guidelines for Admission for Children

1. Admission granted throughout the year.
2. Only children with Intellectual Disability shall be granted admission. No other disability shall be considered for admission.
3. The child is to be brought for initial assessment. At the time of assessment, all medical records and psychological assessments tests, done previously are to be shown to the Special Educator and a copy of the same is to be kept in the file opened.
4. Checklist of documents to be submitted at the time of admission
   1. A copy of Birth Certificate shall be submitted as proof of Date Of Birth (DOB) and parents’ name.
   2. Proof of Residential Address
   3. Disability certificate, Doctors report (if any.)
   4. Caste Certificate
   5. Aadhar card
   6. UDID card
5. Observation Period:
   For the first three days, the child may be called to school only for half a day (timings may be changed after discussion with the educators). During this period, child will be under constant observation. After 2 weeks, the child shall be assessed by the Special Educator, and the training programme for the child shall be drawn up.
